Bachelor of Science: Only a single subject is usually studied. Individual programs may be provided with a small minor subject (module).
Semesters abroad during the second study phase are recommended.
With appropriate qualifications, honors study is possible.
Business administration (BWL) is the economic analysis about the "management" of " businesses ". In this context, "business" is a more specific traditional term for companies. The term "management" is understood as the responsible use of limited resources. In other words, business administration is fundamentally concerned with the study of how companies use resources such as raw materials, goods, personnel and capital, and with the development of knowledge and instruments for organizing company activities in all their dimensions in such a way that the input/output relation is as optimal as possible.
Employment opportunities can be found in all types of companies and institutions in the private sector, in the public sector or in the health care system.
There are fields of activity in all types of business and institutions in the private sector, the public sector and the public health care system.
Financial management and reporting, value chain management, real estate management.
The length of the program depends on the progress of an individual's studies. The standard period of study, the time in which the intended program can be finished ideally is 6 semesters. The actual time taken to complete the program may vary. It is limited by the examination deadlines set out in the examination regulations.
