Registrar`s Office

You can find a quick overview of the programs currently offered and the application and enrollment process in the reference sheet for the summer or winter term (only in german language).

The Registrar's Office is your point of contact for all organizational matters concerning starting and carrying through your studies. We guide you through from your application and enrollment right up to terminating your enrollment with us, renewing your enrollment, applying for leave of absence, changing your postal addresses or if you have lost your student ID card. You should also notify us if you have an accident connected with your studies.

International applicant can as well take advantage of the extended counseling offered by the International Office. Please refer to the colleagues at the IO if you are unsure about your study opportunities at the UR.

We will be pleased to receive your emails, and you can include application forms as scans (where necessary with supporting documents). Please use the following address: studierendenkanzlei@ur.de or call us on 0941/943-5500.

You can also leave your documents directly in our postbox.

If you have problems re-registering, please send us an email.

In case your UR Card is lost or does not work anymore, please contact us by email to studierendenkanzlei@ur.de. If you desire to receive a new UR Card, please attach a picture of yours and a proof of payment of the requested fee for the new card. We will then send the new UR card to the address mentioned in SPUR. The transaction details you can find here.

Reaching us by telephone

The members of staff here at the Registrar's Office can currently only be reached by phone to a limited extent, so it is preferable to use email. We will then take care of your requests promptly.
