Joseph-Alexander Zeitler studied Business Administration (Bachelor of Science) with a focus on financial management and reporting as well as real estate at the University of Regensburg. He then completed a double-degree master in Real Estate at the IRE|BS Institute of Real Estate and the Henley Business School (University of Reading, UK).

He gained practical experience by completing internships at a local auditing company as well as a land agent. Since 2017, he works as research assistant at the Competence Center for Sustainable Real Estate.
