CV
Dr. Luca Magazzù obtained his PhD from the University of Palermo (Italy) working on the topic of strongly dissipative quantum systems under the supervision of Prof. D. Valenti and Prof. B. Spagnolo.
After a Postdoc position at Ausgburg University (Germany) in the chair of Prof. P. Hänggi, where he worked on the theory of driven, open quantum systems and of quantum measurement, he is currently a postdoc in Prof. M. Grifoni chair at Regensburg University (Germany) where he focuses on the description and modelling of ultrastrongly-coupled cQED systems and on quantum transport theory.
He is involved in the Quantera project SiUCs on the Theory side, addressing the dynamics and characterization of cQED setups in the ultra-strong coupling regime.
