Christoph Stoiber studied Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at the University of Augsburg. His major fields of study were Operations Management and Information Systems. During his studies he gained academical experiences at the Professorship of Applied Data Analysis of the University of Augsburg. Moreover, he could also gain practical experiences at different positions at multinational corporations as Audi, Volkswagen, Kuka, and Hilti in Germany and Mexico. Since December 2017 he is working at the Linde plc as an Operations Automation Expert and is responsible for the corporation’s digitalization and automation projects in the EMEA region. Christoph Stoiber is an external researcher at the Professorship for IoT-based Information Systems (Prof. Dr. Schönig) since December 2019. His research topics are novel methods and models for IoT-based Business Process Improvements.
