Biography
Elena von Perponcher is a DFG project member in the lab of Prof. Mark Greenlee at the Institute of Experimental Psychology, University of Regensburg, Germany. After finishing her Master´s degree in Psychology with focus on Cognitive Neuroscience, she chose to further her research in the field of visual perception with a particular focus on achieving a better understanding of neural processes in individuals with impaired vision. Her current work focuses on MRI-based examinations of patients with central scotoma. During her Master´s years, she has also gained research experience in a broad range of topics including sleep research and Cognitive Neuropsychology.
