The Cluster Financial Services and IT (Information and Communication Technologies) focuses the analysis, optimization and management of IT in financial service companies. The goal is to transfer new concepts (e.g. Internet Banking, Electronic Stock Exchange and Markets, concepts dealing with Process and Quality Management, IT Security Governance) as well as technologies (e.g. Web 2.0, Service-Oriented Architectures, knowledge-based systems, neuronal networks) from science to financial practice.
