For this course, you will be awarded 6 ECTS points. The requirements for passing the course consist of a written exam (50 %) and additional achievements (50 %) to be provided in the practical course during the semester.

If you attend the English-speaking course, the exam will also be in English.

Alternative 1: Classes in German 22171
The basic lecture conveys to the students an access and overview of the modern human resource management field. It deals with central, theoretical rudiments, examines the institutions and main actors of HRM and discusses the different functions and characteristics of HRM in detail.

The lecture will be substituted by a provided reader for self-studying that introduces to the differentiated topics of the sessions.

The exercise deepens the contents of the German lecture Personalmanagement. Scientific texts are discussed and case studies are prepared.

Course 22172a is reserved for exchange students. Different from the German-speaking practical courses, the English-speaking course is NOT coupled with the German-speaking lecture "Personalmanagement" (Human Resource Management). The exercise deepens the contents of self-study literature.
