• Nov. 23: We are looking to fill a 3-yr position for a statistical postdoc / scientific programmer to continue the development of the DHARMa package for glmm residual diagnostics. Details in the job advertisement here.
• WHK Stellen / student assistants - We are permanently looking for students with programming / statistical knowledge to help with programming / testing software that we develop, as well for data preparation and statistical analyses - if you are interested, please get in touch.

General info on joining the lab

Interested in joining our lab as a PhD student / postdoc? Feel free to get in contact, either to express your general interest in working with us, or to suggest a specific project.

In doing so, note that open positions in our lab will be announced here, via the University Job Board, the usual profesional channels, and, probably easiest, via twitter/ X - if you don't see any recent job announcements on these channels, you can assume there are none and that you would be responsible to think about suitable funding options.

Also, please understand that we will only answer general inquiries if they come with a reasonably specific email text that should at least show a good awareness of the research we are doing, explain your background / experience and your interests / career goals, and hint towards your funding plans.
