Please apply until July 31st each year for the upcoming winter term per E-Mail to: Prof. Dr. Uwe Ritter (T. 944-18125, uwe.ritter@ukr.de). Please attach documents of the list below. You might be invited to a short interview and will be notified by September 15th whether or nor you qualify for the immunology module.
Necessary application documents (deadline: end of July):
1. application with desired lab group (no guarantee)
2. curriculum vitae
3. bachelor's degree certificate
4. certificate of enrollment (Immatrikulationsbescheinigung)
5. proof of compulsory internship (excerpt from study regulations, hours per week)
Necessary documents after acceptance and before the start of the internship (from February) in the lab groups:
1. medical certificate incl. vaccination status signed by family doctor (Hausarzt) or company doctor (Betriebsarzt)
2. data protection training LIT (Datenschutzschulung); this training is in addition to the UKR data protection training
3. LIT safety instruction LIT
For two aspects (medical certificate and LIT data protection training) a certain lead time is necessary. We will ask you about these points once we have confirmed your participation in our module. Period November, i.e. approx. 3 months before the start of the internship.

During the laboratory course „State of the Art“ technologies relevant in modern Immunology will be acquired. The laboratory course can be completed in one of the working groups within the Institute of Immunology and should be finished by the end of the following summer semester.
