In Volkswirtschaftslehre promovieren / Doing a Ph.D

  
Eine Promotion ist grundsätzlich an einem der Lehrstühle des Instituts für Volkswirtschaftslehre und Ökonometrie möglich. Um sich über diese Möglichkeit zu informieren, kontaktieren Sie am besten im Vorfeld den entsprechenden Professor.
  
Das Institut für Volkswirtschaftslehre und Ökonometrie ist darüber hinaus an zwei strukturierten Promotionsprogrammen beteiligt: dem BGPE - Bavarian Graduate Program in Economics (Ansprechpartner: Prof. Gabriel Lee) und dem International Doctoral Program (IDK) "Evidence-Based Economics" (Ansprechpartner: Prof. Andreas Roider), das vom Elitenetzwerk Bayern gefördert wird.
  
Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie bei der Bewerbung für das IDK "Evidence-Based Economics", so wie dies bei den meisten strukturierten Promotionsprogrammen der Fall ist, einen GRE-Test (für den es Anmeldefristen zu beachten gilt) vorlegen müssen und die Bewerbungsfrist zu einem (von Kohorte zu Kohorte) etwas unterschiedlichen Zeitpunkt im ersten Quartal eines Jahres endet (für einen Einstieg zum 1.10.).

Please note that when applying for the program on "Evidence-Based Economics" you need a GRE test (for which there are registration deadlines) and the application deadline is at some point in the first quarter of a year where students are admitted to the program.
