Doctorate

The Institute of Art history in Regensburg has started the doctoral studies course Aisthesis in 2010. Together with international partners, such as the University of Vienna (AT), the University of Bern (CH) and the Stuttgart Academy of Art, Aisthesis provides an international programme and support network for the doctoral students.

It is, of course, possible to pass the traditional individual doctorate procedure. In addition to that the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Regensburg (PUR) also provides a structured doctorate procedure within an international doctoral studies course.
