In addition to free self-service use of the scanners, the MultiMediaCenter also offers all students and employees of the University of Regensburg a fee-based scan order service.
The Scan Order Service offers you the possibility to have printed material (up to DIN A0 size) as well as slides, microfiches and microfilms scanned. Which scanners are used for the digitisation depends on the type and quality of the original.
The scans are saved as tiff, jpg or pdf files and can then be saved on a storage medium of your choice. On request, we can also produce PDFs with automated text recognition (OCR).
The scan order service can be used by all users of the University Library of Regensburg for scientific purposes.
