Welcome!

The Chair is dedicated to research and scientific advice in the areas of German and European Company Law. The main focus is on Banking Law, Capital Markets Law and Corporate Law including European Corporate Law. Further emphasis of the research is on Arbitration Law, Contract Law and European Private Law.

Particular attention in all areas of the law mentioned above is payed to fundamental research and the contribution of fundamental research to the solution of actual questions of the application of law. Moreover, the methodes of German law as well as of European law are part of the resaerch agenda, too.
