Research Activities

Research activities at the Chair of Information Science focus on different topics:

Our research concerns food information behavior, interaction with virtual agents, behavior in physical and non-physical environments and finally geographical information science. Research techniques range from quantitative methods to qualitative methods, including eye tracking, machine learning and natural language understanding. We aim at understanding human information behavior and thereby create information systems, e.g. assistance systems, recommender systems or persuasive systems.
