Welcome to the Writing Center at the ZSK (Center for Language and Communication)!
We are here to help you develop and improve your writing skills throughout your studies. The Writing Center supports all students at University of Regensburg and OTH Regensburg.
We offer many tips and strategies, individualized to suit your writing needs, at any stage of the writing process, in our one-on-one consultations. Come early! Come often! We look forward to meeting you!

Why do students go to a writing consultant?
Writing consultants know helpful strategies and methods to guide you through the all phases of the writing process. For example: if you do not understand the expectations of an assignment, we can help you with that! If you struggle with getting started, procrastination, or writer’s block, we can help you get going! From narrowing your topic to putting on the final polish, writing consultants help you learn to help yourself.
Does the writing consultant proofread my texts?
We offer guidance in identifying any difficulties you might have with grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling. While we review the overall construct of your paper, we will gently guide you through the process so that you can learn how to find and fix these problems yourself.
Will anyone find out that I have sought help from writing tutors?
Writing consultations are completely confidential. We will not discuss the content of your consultation or the fact you are visiting the Writing Center with your instructors or colleagues.
