IREBS offers, among others, a Masters Program in Real Estate (Master of Science in Real Estate). Our Masters program is truly one of a kind in Germany that gives a solid foundation for a successful entry into a career in real estate industry. An exhaustive list of all courses in English can be obtained at the Homepage of the International Office. The Master Program is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The Real Estate Masters program is a full-time study and with a following program structure: a semester of mandatory courses followed by specializing two of three fields. There are also mandatory literature seminar, practical seminar and project seminar.
The Specialization fields are as follows:
The specialization field of „Real Estate Investment & Finance“ consists of the courses Real Estate Banking, Real Estate Valuation and Accounting, and Real Estate Finance. The second field „Real Estate Development & Management“ deals with the courses Real Estate Development, Real Estate Management and Retail Real Estate. The third field „Real Estate &
Regional Economics“ consists of the courses Real Estate Economics II, Regional Economics
and Real Estate Economics III.
The last part of the Masters program consists of research semester where the students have to take mandatory literature seminar, practical seminar, project seminar and finally the Master thesis.
There is a possibility of a semester (year) abroad in the second and/or third semester. The courses taken at the partner universities can be used as replacements for the equivalent
courses at our Masters program. Our program has cooperations with the University of
Reading, Tongji University and Hong Kong University, among others, where the Master
students can have chance to obtain a second Masters degree.
