Vladimir Stošić, M.A.

Vladimir Stošić completed his Bachelor's degree in Political Science (B.A.) with a focus on the “Islamic State” in the Middle East at the University of Duisburg-Essen. He obtained his Master's degree (M.A.) in Political Science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn with a focus on international relations and global power shifts.

Since October 2023, Vladimir Stošić has been doing his doctorate at Chemnitz University of Technology on great power rivalry and strategic competition between the European Union (EU), the USA, Russia and China in the post-Yugoslavian Balkans. Both his master's degree and his doctorate were funded by a scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS).

He has deepened his research interests through various internships and his experience as a research assistant at the Henry Kissinger Chair for Security and Strategic Studies at the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) at the University of Bonn. Vladimir Stošić has won several national and international essay competitions in the past.

Since 01.01.2025 Vladimir Stošić is employed at the Chair of Leadership and Organization (Prof. Dr. Thomas Steger) at the University of Regensburg. There he works as a Research Associate in the research project “The Church as Organization and Actor: Informality and Corruption in Serbia and the Role of the Serbian Orthodox Church (1990-2023) and investigates the change in the understanding of corruption within the Serbian Orthodox Church.
