Michaela Bauer

Michaela studied biochemistry bachelor and master here in Regensburg. During her Master thesis in the group of Gunter Meister, she was studying RNA modifications and got interested in all the different ways how RNA modifications and RNA binding proteins etc. can be regulators of cellular pathways. After finishing her Master thesis, she stayed in Gunter Meister's group as a doctoral student.

In her PhD, she is now studying the communication of T cells and cancer cells and the invovlement of different RNA regulatory pathways in it. Therefore, a RNAi screeing appraoch was designed to identify possible candidates.
