Simone Larivera

My project focuses on understanding the role of RNA modifications and RBPs in mRNA decay. Employing CRISPR/Cas9 technology and MS analysis, I investigate how the interactome is affected in the absence of key players involved in the recognition of RNA modifications.

Monitoring the changes in RNA levels and protein expression in the background of several depleted factors involved in mRNA decay, helps me to understand and reconstitute the ongoing processes in space and time.
