Alice Griselin obtained her master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Her interest in RNA biology and post-transcriptional regulation was sparked by her master thesis in Prof. Dr. Lafontaine group, and was later strengthened during her work as a Junior Specialist in Prof. Dr. Ruggero group at the University of California San Francisco.
Pursuing a PhD in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Meister gives her the opportunity to explore further RNA modifications regulatory roles. Here, she is studying non-canonical RNA caps and their dedicated enzymes.
